Competition Terms and Conditions: Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry. Entry is open to all Australian and New Zealand permanent residents. Employees and their immediate families of Europcar and printers, suppliers, providers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible. The promotion commences on Saturday 1st September 2007 at 00:01 (AEST) and concludes on Wednesday 31st October 2007 at 23:59 (AEST). To receive a scratch card, customers must rent any vehicle from a Europcar branch in Australia or New Zealand. Entrants must then scratch the silver panel on the Scratch Card, and if they reveal 3 of the same prize symbols, they will win that prize. Each prize is subject to its own separate standard terms and conditions which can be found here. Prize Redemption To redeem any of the Europcar instant win prizes, winners are required to quote the corresponding promotional prize number found on the back of the scratch card, when making their reservation and hand over their winning scratch card when picking up their next vehicle, at any Europcar branch in Australia or New Zealand. Instant win prizes must be redeemed before Friday 22nd December 2007 and are not transferable for cash. To claim a Virgin Blue Flight, Accor Voucher or JVC TV, winners are required to go to http://www.europcar.com.au/competition/redemption.php before December 28th 2007 and complete the online redemption form with their own name, address, phone number and the 7 digit unique code located on the bottom of the scratch card. Winners will then be contacted by the Promoter to organise their prize. To claim the Audi Vehicle, the winner will be instructed to call the Europcar Customer Service number on 1300 720 055 before December 28th 2007, and quote the unique 7 digit code located on the bottom of the scratch panel. The Europcar instant win prizes are transferable. All other prizes are not transferable and are only eligible to the "renter". The renter is the person whose name appears on the rental agreement with Europcar. Names of any winners of prizes valued over $100 will be published in the public notices section of The Australian Newspaper on 18th January 2008. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to state regulation. Instant win game materials are void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way. The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to verify the validity of the all claims and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, or submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Programming and other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these conditions of entry, all valid prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize. All existing claims for prizes and entitlements to claims will be met notwithstanding the advertised prize pool have been exceeded. Printing errors or other quality control matters outside the control of the individual player shall not be used as the sole basis for refusing to award a prize. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. Prize values are GST inclusive and are in Australian dollars and are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. The Promoter's decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into. Prize winners are advised that Tax implications may arise from their prize winning and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize. All prize claims become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information to enable you to redeem your prize but no further use of this information will be made. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. As per the provisions of the New Zealand Privacy Act, any personal details of New Zealand entrants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. A request to access, update and correct any information should be directed to that office. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by the various Lottery Departments, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to State Regulation.
